For Better, for Worse

For Better, for Worse
This book showed me a new perspective on life, at the time I needed it most. The character that inspired me most was Julie, for her bravery and her brains. She took the sour grapes that life gave her, and went on with life holding her head high. Julie is a wonderful example for teens who are crossing over into womenhood. I would suggest this book to all smart young ladies, who are looking for a romance novel that they will never forget.

Authors: Laurel Baker and Stephanie Queen

I'm glad I didn't start it at night!
Two reasons you shouldn't start this book at night. The first reason is that your eyelashes may stay glued to your eyebrows since they have been open so long, because you can't put the book down. And secondly, you don't want to wake your husband if he has to get up in the morning. The book puts you in a very amorous mood with its excitement, suspense, mystery, and a lot of sex. A must read adventure. The terror justs mounts and mounts.

Frazzled Mothers Guide to Inner Peace
Published in Paperback by Tyndale House Pub (April, 1989)
Author: Pat Baker

Find Hope within these pages
I read this book as the frazzled mother of two small children. I always wanted to be a mother, but I found it frustrating and hard. It surprised me that it did not come more naturally to me. I was tired! Tired of the constant demands of young children. Frustrated that there wasn't more to life than this.

A friend lent me this book, and within it I did find peace. Page by page I would read all about the frustrations of motherhood and wanting to do a good job. I could relate! At the end of each page it would help you to offer it all up the God in prayer. It was in this time of prayer, and realizing I needed God's help that I found such peace I could not believe it. This is what I had been searching for. In the arms of the Lord I had hope, and was refreshed. To this day my hope and peace are found only in prayer and trusting that the Lord is with me.

Pat Baker turned me towards the Lord! Thank you Pat!

The Frog Princess
This was a book of many unexpected adventures. Great for kids! I loved the way E.D.Baker wrote his/her book so fast paced. I remember when my mother and I picked it up at the bookstore. At first I wasn't all that interested. But it was actually really cool!!! I can only hope that you and others will find this book satisfactory.
